Great pix. I, of course, liked the wildflowers too. If you are interested, the ones in your May 5 posting are: Painted Trillium (red center), earthstar (the fungus), Fire Pink (bright red), Crested Iris (a different species than the one we saw in Amicolala Falls SP), Yellow Trillium, and Wild Geranium (the lavender one). You will continue to see the Wild Geranium, I am sure. Mentioned it to you on the phone today. Hang in there.

Looks like you're having a great trek thus far, and making good progress. I also enjoyed the wildflower fotos. Looking forward to catching up with you in PA!

Thanks for sharing some of your trip. The pics are just beautiful. Kent and I took a day hike in the Los Angeles National Forest today--with only one water bottle, which was not wise. Do take care of your body-calories, rest, hydration, etc. Jennifer Davis Sensenig

Beautiful wildflowers Ryan. I love all your pictures. I especially love your headshot with the AT plaque. It's also good to read that things are going well. I regret that I didn't get to see you while you were in Georgia (one more week 'til school's out). I'm also leaving for Australia in about a week, but will be back in July. Perhaps we can trade recipes for worms, beetles and such! :P
